Who is Jackson?
The Australian featherweight, aged 33, has never lost a professional fight (record: 16-0-0). His resume includes seven knockouts and a bronze medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. After competing at the 2012 Olympics, he became professional in 2013. This will be his first bout in Europe.
Who could Frampton fight next?
Frampton has admitted that ‘there are big fights for me’ after his bout with Jackson (assuming he wins). In the featherweight division, he may look to secure a rematch against Leo Santa Cruz, who is the only man to beat Frampton at professional level. He may also look to fight fellow British boxer and IBF champion Josh Warrington.
